Eastern Region Sales Manager

Job Description

The Eastern Region Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations within the Eastern region of the company. This position plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth, meeting sales targets, and building strong customer relationships. The Eastern Region Sales Manager will coordinate with the internal sales team and collaborate with various departments to ensure the achievement of regional sales objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. AND/OR
  • Proven track record of successful sales management and achieving revenue targets, preferably in a regional or territory-based role. 
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive intelligence. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing and tracking sales activities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). 
  • Willingness to travel within the Eastern region as required.

  • Activities logged per week (calls/meetings) 
  • Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Sales Results 
  • Leads distributed to the Fall Protection Network

Responsibilities/Duties

1: Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of execution for the Eastern region that aligns with the company’s overall objectives and the company’s sales strategy. 
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales growth. 
  • Set sales targets and goals for the region, and track performance against targets on a regular basis. 
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish sales budgets and forecasts for the region.

2: Sales Operations & Execution:

  • Ensure efficient and effective execution of sales strategies and initiatives in the Eastern region. 
  • Implement and monitor sales processes, policies, and procedures to drive productivity and sales effectiveness. 
  • Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, product management, and customer service to ensure seamless customer experiences and optimized sales processes. 
  • Monitor market conditions, customer satisfaction, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and adjust strategies accordingly. 

3: Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts, such as Fall Protection Specialists, in the Eastern region. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. 
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Leverage customer feedback and market intelligence to drive product and service improvements. 

4: Reporting & Analysis: 

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for the Eastern region. 
  • Present sales updates, key findings, and recommendations to senior management. 
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, evaluate sales performance, and make data-driven decisions.
